Our Story
 

Heaven Sent was founded over forty years ago when two moms dreamed of a children's consignment store with a high quality feel that emphasized family friendly service. Their first store in Federal Way opened in October 1983 and was an immediate success. Initially all merchandise was consigned, but Heaven Sent gradually began buying items outright to make it a simpler process for all. Due to ever increasing inventory and sales, six years later (and several children later), Sheryl and Teresa moved the store to the present location in Neon Plaza close to the local Federal Way mall. At the new location they saw a dramatic increase in sales so added several employees.
 

Heaven Sent has had many devoted employees, some working for over 15 years.
 

In 2003, Sheryl decided to retire and sold her business to Sue, one of their first employees. Since then Sue sold it to Teresa.
 

And then in October 2023 they sold Heaven Sent to us, Hannah and Jonathan Larson. We have had the wonderful opportunity to give back to and be apart of the community that we grew up in, Federal Way. We continue to be grateful for  everyone who has walked through our doors, and look forward to where this next year takes us.

We partner with the local non-profit called Fusion. We provide vouchers that people can use, and Fusion pays. We have Grandparent’s Day(First Friday of each month – 20% off Seniors and Grandparents), Military Discount(10% OFF all purchases made by military families anytime they shop at Heaven Sent. Just show current military ID), and Foster Discounts.
